The staff at ACCCK would like to welcome you and your family to the Dolphin room and look forward to a collaborative relationship.

The Dolphin room consists of not only a Long day care program but also a 3 Year Old Kindergarten Program, the educators aim to ensure the children are prepared to move into the Four year old kindergarten program the following year by giving children the opportunity to,

• actively explore their environment

• make choices and decisions

• to solve their own problems and be independent

• be free to choose and experiment

• carry out their own ideas

 

The Dolphin Room caters for 16 children who are 3 years of age before the 30th of April in the year of attendance. There are three educators working in the Dolphin room, one Bachelor Trained Teacher and one Diploma trained educator and one certificate III trained educator.

Our funded three year old Kindergarten program is led by a Bachelor trained Early Childhood Teacher 4 days per week from 8.30am to 4.45pm. Children access long day care outside of the three year old kindergarten program, allowing parents the opportunity to work full days.
